We are excited to announce the 2nd annual South Platte River clean up in celebration of Earth Day which will take place on Sunday April 20th 2008 in Denver Colorado.

Last year, in its inaugural year, we saw over 120 participants and successfully removed over 2 TONS of garbage from the river way.  The event garnered local and regional media coverage as the lead story on several news channels, as well as appearing on the front page of the Rocky Mountain News the following day.

This year we will be starting at Grant-Frontier Park located at Evans and South Platte Dr. Registration starts at 10:00 am and we will put in at 12:00pm. There will be a free BBQ and Raffle at Confluence park.

There is no available parking at Grant-Frontier Park, but there will be a complimentary shuttle to City of Cuernavaca Park Downtown, where there is ample parking (even for trailers).

More information will be posted here as it is available, or register to have updates emailed to you.
