The first word that comes to mind when describing Maravia boats is, "bomber." Maravia boats are made to perform in the harshest of environments. The Maravia Zephyr Self Bailing Raft is the big brother to the Diablo and can also be called the diminishing tube cousin of the Williwaw 1.5. The tubes of the Maravia Zephyr Self Bailing Raft diminish from 21" in the center to 16" in the bow and stern. This design provides more inside space in the bow and stern and is also an advantage when you encounter those upstream canyon winds in the afternoon. At 15ft long and 7ft wide, this is a great size raft if your normal trips are overnighters and your load is 2-4 people and gear. When paired with the Down River Eagle frame, the Maravia Zephyr Self Bailing Raft also makes a great fishing raft.
The Maravia Zephyr Self Bailing Raft features Maravia’s Class VI welded body construction and a seamless outer coating of tough urethane. The top of the raft surface is textured for traction while paddling or getting in and out. The bottom is slick as glass to add to the Maravia performance advantage. Like all Maravai rafts, the Zephyr comes with a drop stitch self-bailing floor and an 10 year warranty.
The Maravia Zephyr Self Bailing Raft comes standard with two thwarts, plus attachments for two more if you want to set it up to paddle with up to nine people. A flat one-piece self-bailing floor lets this raft perform, even with a load.
